Hawkins Group were engaged by Meridian Energy to remove and replace the existing failed roof at the Lake Keepit Power Station.

The works comprised:

• Demolition;
• Scaffold & edge protection;
• Asbestos works;
• Fabrication and installation of new steel roof framing & supports;
• Installation of new purlins, roofing and flashings.

The project was successfully delivered ahead of time without any injuries or incidents and whilst protecting the Power Stations operational assets from water damage.
