Hawkins Group were engaged by Mackellar to complete the construction of two HME Service Bays and a Dozer Bay including structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection at the Carmichael Coal Mine in the Galilee Basin.

The works comprised:

• Fabrication of 50t+ of structural steel, gantries, walkways, handrail and dozer rails (in-house);
• Steel Erection; and
• Dome Erection.
