The Hawkins Group is committed to take all practical steps to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury and work related illness to its employees, subcontractors, their employees and clients.

Every person in Management has a personal and individual responsibility for the health and safety of all persons under their control and for clients and their representatives on areas under their control.

Every person employed by The Hawkins Group is responsible for reporting accidents and unsafe acts and conditions to their Supervisor. Such reporting in no way reduces management’s responsibility for the Health and Safety of persons under their control nor their obligations to incorporate Health and Safety into process, facilities & operations.

Should persons employed by The Hawkins Group be injured at work all possible support will be made available to them and all reasonable steps taken to remove or alter the factors, which contributed to the injury.

The company will provide and ensure plant & equipment is in a safe working condition, provide the necessary protective clothing and equipment as well as providing adequate training to allow employees to work in the safest possible manner.

We emphasize to all our employees, subcontractors and their employees the need to follow safe working practices, to observe safety rules, to obey safety instructions and use necessary protective clothing and equipment so as no one is exposed to risk of injury or disease.

Management is totally committed to the implementation and maintenance of the Health and Safety Systems, which will ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

All environmental issues are taken into consideration during project risk management assessments and during day to day operations.
